To be fair, yellow signs are only a suggestion.
/Accidentally took a 20 km/h off ramp at 80 km/h

Nothing infuriates me more than seeing brake lights come on for one of these. Dang it, I WANT TO ATTACK THAT TURN WITH MY TRUCK!

Translated into American-
80km/hr= 50mph
35km/hr= 22mph
135km/hr= 84mph

Sounds abour right. If you’re gonna get a speeding ticket, you might as well get it for having fun on a curve. Any idiot can go fast in a straight line.

This is my logic.

Yeah, it was clear, fortunately. On ramps are my drug. Off ramps, well, don’t do what I did. Especially in the middle of winter. Fortunately, a Maxima can actually handle pretty okay!

But having said that, many ramp speeds are an absolute joke. They are only worth following if you’re driving an 18 wheeler.
Even on a crappy economy car, you can usually go double those speeds without issue.
There was one off-ramp I drove where the ramp speed was 20km/h and I as about to go triple that without tire squeal in a Ford Escort on non-performance all-season tires.

Just don’t try that on 2b. Lotsa lives lost. (sharp turn in cloverleaf with huge drop off)
